Our community’s experiences

What is it?
bInspired is a 6- or 8-month mentoring programme that aims to generate benefits for companies, employees and our society at large by connecting young women, aged 17–21, with female mentors within our partner organisations.

The programme is underpinned by 3 pillars: learning and development, community and networking and talent and recruitment.
Participants will be matched with a female mentor in one of our partner organisations using our intelligent bInspired Matching Tool. Each mentoring pair will meet a minimum of once a month, either virtually or in-person, where mentors will have the opportunity to support their mentees personal and professional development goals.

Throughout the programme, participants will be able to attend workshops, training and networking sessions. In addition to this they can also opt-in to the bInnovative programme which is a sub-initiative to help mentees learn in-demand industry skills.
Our mentees must be:

• Females aged between 17 and 25.

• Keen to be part of a global community of like-minded young women.

• Keen to acquire and develop new skills.

• Keen to gain access to employment opportunities.

• Committed to the process.

• Located in our countries of operation.
For our mentees: By increasing young women's access to role models, development pathways and creating community groups, we are providing them with better opportunities for success.

For our partners: Our programme can enrich the employee experience by giving your employees a greater sense of worth and challenging them to step outside of their comfort zones. This, in turn, can improve employee engagement and increase retention and performance levels.
