Born from a gap that should never have existed.
bloss.m was founded by Lola Olaore, drawing on years of working across education, consulting, and social impact and a deep personal understanding of the barriers girls and women continue to face.
Having seen first-hand how inequality shapes the futures of girls and young women, Lola built bloss.m to be part of the solution.
Throughout her career, Lola saw how systems consistently failed to reflect or support the potential of girls and young women.
Raised by a community that believed in her, Lola was encouraged from an early age to pursue her passions and reach beyond what felt immediately possible. That belief was affirmed when she was selected for Google Top Black Talent, an experience that transformed her perspective and showed her what becomes possible when the right doors are opened for you.
But throughout her career, she kept seeing the same pattern. Talented, ambitious girls navigating education and life without the networks, mentors, or opportunities that others took for granted.
She saw a gap that nobody was filling in the way it needed to be filled. bloss.m is Lola's answer to that gap.

Through leadership development, youth social action, technology for social good, mentoring, and real-world experiences, bloss.m Scholars is a four-year leadership academy designed to empower Black girls across the UK during some of the most formative years of their lives.

Lola Olaore
CEO & Founder
Lola Olaore is the Founder and CEO of bloss.m, an award-winning social impact organisation empowering girls and young women to lead and thrive. A Harvard graduate, Churchill Fellow, and One Young World Ambassador, she brings expertise across consulting, education, technology, and social impact. Through bloss.m, Lola designs evidence-based programmes that advance leadership, wellbeing, and opportunity for the next generation.

Thomas Chu
Co-Founder & CTO
Tom is a data science product manager and social entrepreneur. After graduating from Imperial College, he has delivered fintech and risk-based solutions using NLP, network analytics and generative AI for the likes of Accenture London and Deloitte Hong Kong. Driven by a commitment to youth social mobility, Tom co-founded bloss.m to equip young women globally with the toolkit to reach their full potential. Alongside running the day-to-day, he's always ideating new ways to deliver impact through technology.

Nkechi Adeboye
bloss.m Scholars Research Analyst
Nkechi is a social impact consultant with over eight years of experience in the third and charity sector, focusing on gender-based violence, technology-facilitated abuse, and equitable education. She holds an MSc in Development Studies from LSE and previously worked as a software engineer in financial services, including Tech for Good projects. Outside of work, she's usually at an art gallery or the gym.

Josie Sequeira-Shuker
HERambition Podcast Host
Josie is the host of the HERambition Podcast, a TEDx Speaker and Chemistry Student. In 2021 she shared an idea with us, and we partnered with her to make it a reality and thus the HERambition Podcast began! Each episode Josie speaks with female CEOs, medics, lawyers, entrepreneurs, professionals and other inspiring women to hear their stories. Our guests share their tips and advice to help young women develop their confidence and get the most out of life.

Geetha Thatikonda
bloss.m Scholars Learning Designer
Geetha holds a Master's in Learning Design, Innovation and Technology from Harvard, alongside qualifications in Visual Arts and Liberal Arts. Her work as an instructional designer and educator culminated in "Evolve through Art", a curriculum using art for skill and value development. She is now Academic Advisor and Technology Lead at the Stamps School of Art and Design, University of Michigan.

Toluwani Roberts
Director of partnerships & philanthropy
Toluwani is a lifelong learner and advocate for creating fulfilling experiences for young people. As Manager of Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy at KIPP DC, she builds purpose-driven partnerships that directly support students and alumni. She holds a Bachelor's from Howard and a Master's in Education Policy & Advocacy from Georgetown. Outside of work, she's usually on a tennis court, at church, or on the next flight out of IAD.

Dacey Jackson
Director of Curriculum & Student Learning Strategy
Dacey Jackson is a youth development professional and program leader committed to educational equity and expanding opportunities for young people. She earned her Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and currently works at Khan Lab School, where she designs engaging, student-centered learning experiences. Dacey also serves as co-chair of Khan Academy’s AIEDU Summit, bringing together educators and leaders to explore the future of AI in education. Throughout her career, she has maintained a deep commitment to advancing equity through initiatives in education, leadership development, career readiness, and youth engagement, with a focus on expanding equitable access to opportunity through skill building and emerging technologies.
